We are a liturgical church, using the 1979 Book of Common Prayer.
The Church of the Holy Apostles is a Rite One parish. Our worship is in the Anglo-Catholic tradition. We use the traditional Prayer Book psalter at our Sunday services. The Holy Eucharist is celebrated in the likewise, traditional, Eastward position.
Our Sunday services are at 8 and 10 o'clock. The Early Service is a Low Mass unaccompanied by music. The 10 o'clock service is a Sung Mass with hymns. On major feast days our worship is augmented by the use of incense and special music.
There is one
regular celebration of the Eucharist during the week - Tuesday mornings at 9:00.
This Mass is celebrated in either the Lady Chapel or the Choir Chapel. The Mass is also offered on Major Saints' Days as announced.
The Prayer Book office of Evening Prayer is usually read in the Lady Chapel on Wednesdays at 6:45 p.m. just prior to the Basic Christianity Class and the EYC meeting.
