I would like to introduce you to our Centurion, Fr. Conex Mussa Zisuna Nyirenda. He is the rector of Saint Ambrose Parish in Karonga, Malawi. Karonga is the northernmost part of the diocese of Northern Malawi. Northern Malawi is a companion diocese to the diocese of Fort Worth.

This is a picture of the demonstration garden Fr. Conex has planted near his church. He is growing bananas and other fruit in order to augment the local diet of maize and rice. His hope is to be able to distribute plants to ten other churches in the area. The famine is still very much with them. |
