Friday at All Saints

Our opening session on Friday was in the nave of All Saints' Church in Fort Worth immediately following the opening Eucharist. It was a very full house!

 

 
 

Friday's Session

Bishop Iker presided from the top of the chancel steps.

 

 
 

Fr. Logan

Fr. Jeffery Logan, SSC, an active duty Navy Chaplain (currently stationed in Hawaii after a tour in Iraq), addressed the convention on the work and need for military chaplains.

 

 
 

Jason Bontke

Jason Bontke, the director of Camp Crucis delivered a truly marvelous report on the work and ministry of Camp Crucis. The real high point of the opening session.

 

 
 

Bishop Frank Lyons

The Rt. Rev. Frank Lyons (on the right), the bishop of Bolivia was the preacher at our opening Eucharist. Bishop Lyons was with us as a representative of the Anglican Province of the Southern Cone. That's Canon Hough (on the left), our canon to the ordinary, holding Bishop Iker's miter and crozier.

Our View

This was the view from our table on Saturday in the East Texas Room of the Will Rogers Center.We were arranged in the room by deaneries. Trinity's delegation was in front of us, All Saints' Fort Worth's behind us, Christ the King's was on our right, and Saint Christopher's was on our left.
